By MRT (Train):

Take the Downtown Line (Blue) or Circle Line (Orange) to Promenade MRT Station (CC4/DT15). Take Exit A, step outside, and follow the blue pedestrian signs along Raffles Avenue. It is an easy, flat 7 to 8-minute walk directly to the ticketing concourse.

By Foot via Helix Bridge:

If you are already exploring Marina Bay Sands, The Shoppes, or ArtScience Museum, you can walk straight across the Helix Bridge. The pedestrian walkway brings you right out by the waterfront promenade next to the Singapore Flyer terminal in about 10 to 12 minutes.

By App-Based Rides & Taxis:

Set your drop-off point to “Singapore Flyer Main Entrance / Taxi Stand” (30 Raffles Avenue). Taxis and ride-hailing cars (Grab/Gojek) drop you off directly at the ground-level terminal building entrance.

Pro Tip: Time your flight around 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM. One complete rotation takes roughly 30 minutes. Boarding just before sunset allows you to see the city skyline by daylight on the way up, catch the sunset at the 165-meter peak, and watch Marina Bay light up as you glide back down.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How much time should I set aside for the Singapore Flyer?

Plan for roughly 1.5 to 2 hours total. The flight itself takes exactly 30 minutes, but you will spend 30 to 45 minutes walking through the Time Capsule exhibit before boarding, plus ticket check-in and security.

  • Is the ride scary for people who are afraid of heights?

The ride is very gentle and stable. The capsules are large (holding up to 28 people), fully enclosed with floor-to-ceiling reinforced glass, and move so smoothly that you barely feel any motion. There is also central bench seating inside if you prefer not to stand near the glass walls.

  • What are the operating hours?

The Singapore Flyer is open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with the last admission and boarding call at 9:30 PM.

  • Can we take baby strollers or wheelchairs inside?

Yes. The entire attraction is fully accessible. Boarding ramps are flat, and standard wheelchairs and foldable baby strollers can be wheeled directly inside the capsule without any steps.
